At Yumbii, we sling tacos with flair, fry with finesse, and dish out Korean BBQ with Southern swagger. Whether you're taking orders with a smile (FOH), bringing the heat on the grill (BOH), running the show as a manager, or driving the food truck like a flavor superhero—we’ve got a role for you.
We’re almost always hiring for the following positions:
Front of House Team Member – $8–$10/hr + tips
Back of House Team Member – $14–$16/hr
Food Truck Drivers & Line Cooks – $16–$22/hr
Shift Leaders - $12 /hr + tips
Assistant Managers - $15/hr + tips
General Managers, Kitchen Managers – Salaried or $24 / Hour , based on experience

OUR SYSTEMS & RESOURCES 🛠️💰
We use a few key tools to keep everything running smoothly—and to make your work life easier:
Gusto – Our payroll system. Use it to set up direct deposit, view pay stubs, and get tax forms.
📅 We pay every two weeks on Friday!Sling – Your go-to for checking schedules, clocking hours, and requesting time off. Stay in the loop and plan ahead.
Toast – Our Point of Sale system. Use it to take orders, clock in and out, and keep service running like a well-oiled taco machine.
We’ll walk you through everything during onboarding—no stress.
FRONT OF HOUSE TIP POOLING POLICY 💸
At Yumbii, we use a tip pooling system to keep things fair and team-focused. Here’s how it works:
Tips from each shift (AM / PM) are pooled and divided based on the number of hours each team member worked during that shift.
This means the more hours you work, the larger your share of the tip pool.
General Managers contribute their tips back into the pool to help support the whole team.
It’s all about sharing the love—and the rewards—together. See below for our 2025 tips per hour averages.

Wondering how much you’ll make in tips? Great question! At Yumbii, average tips per hour can vary based on a few things:
Location – Some spots are busier than others (hello, Midtown lunch rush).
Shift timing – Nights and weekends usually mean more traffic (and more tips).
Teamwork & service – The better the vibe and service, the better the tips. Customers feel the energy, and it shows in what they leave behind.
Bring the good vibes, hustle hard, and the tips will follow. 🙌

MIDTOWN: $17.26 / HOUR
TOCO HILLS: $10.61 / HOUR
MOORES MILL: $8.65 / HOUR

Our team policies aren’t just rules, they’re the foundation of how we work together, stay consistent, and create an awesome experience for everyone. These are three policies that every team member should know and understand before accepting a role with Yumbii.
(Why Is the Cell Phone Policy Included here? Because this is the one our team has the most trouble with! We are in the hospitality business - we need to be in the moment with the customer. Plus, it’s a major health code violation!)
